McGregor Child Care Centre

McGregor Child Care Centre is a non-profit child care centre, located at the Broadway Campus of Vancouver Community College, 1155 East Broadway (at Keith Drive, one block west of Clark Drive). Situated on top of Vancouver Community College McGregor Daycare is a safe place for your kids to learn and grow.

McGregor Child Care is open to the students, staff and to the public with priorities given to VCC students, staff and faculty.

Our objectives are to provide:

Educational experiences for children from 18 months to 5 years;

Quality care for children of parents from the College and community;

A secure, stable, safe and healthy environment

Training for students of Early Childhood Education.

Our Philosopy

To provide a relaxed and loving atmosphere so the child will learn through:

play experiences
modelling of the staff
self and teacher directed activities
a curriculum that allows for group and individual experiences which are based on children's needs and to emphasize the learning process rather than the end product
to accept all children providing their needs can be met within the program
to have qualified staff facilitate learning experiences
